Hello!
Hi, I’m Sophia, a medical illustrator and graphic designer based in Chicago. I specialize in turning complex scientific and medical concepts into clear, beautiful, and anatomically accurate visual stories. I think the human body is incredible, and I’m passionate about creating visuals that help people better understand its complexity.
With a Master’s in Medical Art and a background in Biology, I help doctors, researchers, educators, publishers, and healthcare brands communicate ideas with clarity and visual impact. My work is research-led, collaborative, and grounded in accuracy, but I also care deeply about making medical information feel accessible, thoughtful, and engaging.
I’m especially drawn to projects in women’s health, fertility, nutrition, anatomy, and medical education, where clear visuals can help people feel more informed, confident, and connected to their own bodies. Whether I’m partnering with clinicians to visualize new findings, creating illustrations for patient education, designing book layouts, or developing visual strategies for digital medical libraries, my goal is to make complex information easier to understand, remember, and share.
While the core of my work is focused on science and medicine, I always make time for creative projects that keep my perspective fresh. Whether you need a single illustration, a patient education resource, a book layout, or a larger visual system, I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
